Figure of Space: Part I
Figure of Space is the fourth episode in a series of improvised dances that explore folk tales as both a narrative structure and a physical practice. Working between pantomime and abstraction, between clarity and complexity, between being "on" and being "in," Figure of Space asks dancers to imagine the fantastic based on heightened sensations of the “real.”

Premiered at Highways Performance Space, Santa Monica, CA (2017). Additional performances at Zebulon (2018) and at the Performative Computation Symposium at NAVEL, Los Angeles (2019).
